Due to the spread of the virus, COVID-19, and the closure of all area schools, Forward Stride has decided to close through March 31st. With the possibility that this closure will be extended. We have weighed the risks to clients, staff members, and volunteers in this decision. It is our hope that our choice to minimize all social contact will assist in slowing the spread so that our medical community will be best able to help those who have severe symptoms.

We will limit access to our facility to staff, horse owners, and horse care vendors as of 3:00 pm today, Friday, March 13th.

Riding and Vaulting clients are eligible for Voucher Lessons for lessons missed due to our closure through March 22nd (the remainder of Winter Quarter). If you have already signed up for Spring Quarter, you will automatically be credited for classes on March 30th and 31st. If the closure is extended, we will determine billing for Spring Quarter at that time.

We will look into the possibility of virtual sessions for Rehabilitation Services and Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy clients. Please reach out to your therapist to see if this is an appropriate option for you.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Stay healthy.

Sincerely,
Amber Varner
Executive Director
