Featured Large Items (15,000+)

Utility Vehicle - John Deere Gator or Kawasaki Mule
About $15,000

“There are a lot of tasks that I do daily with facilities and barn coordinating that would be made much easier with a Utility Vehicle. It would help with delivering salt, bedding, hay, and hauling tools back and forth to various locations. It also allows for deliveries or other smaller projects that we normally use the tractor for to be done while dragging, moving compost, or any other large tractor projects.” – Abby, Barn Coordinator

Riding Simulator
$65,000

“Riding assessments could be done with the simulator, eliminating the need to work horses an extra day or to wait until programming breaks, this would allow more clients to come off of our wait list in a more timely fashion when openings exist.

Once a month, lessons could be held on the simulator in order to work on introducing new skills such as sitting trot, posting trot, and canter.

We could serve more individuals in camp-like experiences without the need to add more to our horses’ work load.

When the weather is extreme, we would not have to cancel classes, but could do simulator work instead.

If riders have a transient injury or condition like a breakthrough seizure, broken bone, or other soft tissue injury that make the risk of riding a living horse too high for a spell, “riding” the simulator could be a way to stay fit and continue developing skills that will help when they are able to return to full exercise.

Horses could have a bit of a break once a month, reducing burnout and adding to longevity.

While nothing replaces the movement of the horse and the relationships that develop, a simulator can add to our body of knowledge and increase our abilities to be the best riders possible.” – Amber, Executive Director

Vaulting Simulator
$20,000

“When we have a horse out due to illness or lameness, we could still use the simulator to continue to build skills and balance. It has all of the same lateral movement as a horse, so if a person is off balance, they will immediately know and will experience what it does to the horse without injury to themselves or the horse. Vaulters could learn to move up to trot or canter, as it does all of the gaits at different speeds to adjust to each different horse. Therefore, a vaulter could perfect everything on the Racewood before even trying it on the horse, making it a more productive and pleasant process for all while needing less actual horse time.” – Marci, Vaulting Program Coordinator

Featured Medium Items (1,000 – 15,000)

Vaulting Surcingle with Brown Kristina Boe Handles
About $2,100

“[This surcingle] would enable each of our competitive vaulting horses to have their own surcingle that we could shape for their body so it would be better for the horses and more useful for the vaulters.” – Marci, Vaulting Program Coordinator

14" Ansur Westernaire Saddle
$7,195

“Ansur saddles offer our riders and horses the best of both worlds. We can ensure a good fit to our horse by shimming the saddle correctly to fit their back. With that out of the way, we can focus on fitting our riders with the best saddle style and size to support their pelvis. Adding a Westernaire saddle to our tackroom will give us more to choose from and ensure good fit for all in larger class sizes.” – Amber, Executive Director

Noble Stall Fronts for Mini Barns
About $700-900 per stall

“When we built the stalls at our new facility, we were able to cut costs by creating our own stall fronts. However, they have turned out to have a shorter lifespan than we would have liked. We find ourselves needing to replace several of them for horse safety. We would like to replace them with Noble Panels stall fronts. We feel this is a good price point for our needs and they are able to custom size them for us to fit each stall. We will need a total of 30 to take care of the whole facility, but would love to start with having 3 on hand to replace stalls as needed.” – Amber, Executive Director
