We have some good news to start the year! The numbers are in and we are very excited to announce that our “Fulfilling Potential” end-of-year giving campaign was a success! Thanks to the compelling story submissions of 50 community members, we raised more in 50 days than we have ever raised in previous year-end campaigns. In fact, we surpassed our goal by almost 10%! The generosity of our community, both financially and through sharing their stories and photos, is staggering. To each and every person who participated in this giving season: thank you!

And without further ado, the total amount raised by our 2019 End-of-Year Giving Campaign was…

$55,000!

These funds help to ensure that we can continue to serve our mission and make a difference in the lives of everyone who comes through our gates.

This December, our very own Executive Director Amber Varner had the honor of being featured as a Cool Girl on the sock website Sock it to Me. Since they started the movement in 2009, Sock it to Me has featured “amazing women of all ages doing amazing things.” Over the past ten years, they have featured “scientists, athletes, artists, entrepreneurs, hopers, dreamers, and doers.” We’re pretty proud of Amber for joining these ranks!
