The 2023 Giddyup Gala was truly a night of celebration, as we saw over 250 attendees, staff, and event volunteers come together to recognize Forward Stride’s 20th anniversary and support our programs.
The incredible Forward Stride community raised over $188,000!
It was a wonderful night celebrating Forward Stride’s 20th anniversary and we are very excited to see how the next 20 will unfold!

Your support helps us to make life changing therapies possible and to achieve our mission of helping, healing, and enhancing quality of life.
Akila Subramanian spoke on Saturday evening, sharing how her son Vivaan has been impacted during his time as a client at Forward Stride. She explained that “in about 17 months, [Vivaan] goes from not doing anything to being able to play tennis, ride a bike, do figure skating, to be able to play the piano, excellent academics… It was just unbelievable for me.” Akila and Vivaan’s story is one of many that shows the therapeutic benefits and ability for healing that our equine programs offer.
