It’s time for another update from the Forward Stride herd!
If you’ve been to the barn at all this year, you’ve probably seen our two newest additions to the program herd! They are already excelling in our programs and are quickly becoming favorites of our clients.
We are thrilled to formally welcome Maggie and Taylor!
Maggie is a 16 year-old Missouri Fox Trotter mare. She is super sweet and eager to show off her special gait, the fox trot that her breed is named for!
Taylor is a 26 year-old Thoroughbred gelding. He’s a kind-hearted fellow who is eager to please. He and Nikki, the Paint Cross mare who joined our herd this past fall, have the same owner!
We’re also pleased to announce that Captain has joined our therapy herd as well!
Captain is a 13 year-old Tennessee Walker gelding. He’s a regal fellow who has made many friends while in training, and he’s excited to be starting programming!
Herd member Chacco has retired to a community member’s home. He has settled in well and we are so happy for him to have a lovely retirement!
