Governor Kate Brown has mandated a 2 week statewide freeze for the state of Oregon. This freeze takes effect on November 18, 2020. Under these new restrictions, Forward Stride is able to continue operating as normal for all programming and clinical services.
We do need everyone’s help to maintain a safe facility so that we can continue to serve our community. We are asking that all volunteers, clients, staff and horse owners be mindful of the following:
- If you do choose to travel outside of the state, Forward Stride will ask you to follow the recommended 14 day self quarantine and not return to Forward Stride until the 14 days is up. Make up lessons can be arranged if you will miss any pre paid lessons.
- Minimize contact with individuals that do not live in the same household as you and avoid large social gatherings during this time when COVID-19 cases are surging.
- Continue to diligently follow all protocols put in place by Forward Stride including good hand hygiene, proper mask wearing, limiting touching of surfaces and always maintaining 6 feet of distance from other individuals.
- Notify a Forward Stride staff member immediately if you think you have been exposed to COVID-19, know you have been exposed or have tested positive for COVID-19.
Our client’s, volunteer’s and staff’s health and safety are our number one priority, especially right now as COVID-19 cases are surging. We thank you for your continued support in helping maintain this safe environment at Forward Stride.
