Emily, our Marketing and Communications Coordinator and Riding Instructor, will be moving on to a remote marketing and communications position where she will be able to spend more time traveling to see her family and loved ones. Although Emily is extremely sad to be leaving her position at Forward Stride, she is extremely grateful for the community and friends that her and her horse Kip have made here! Sweet Kip will be staying at Forward Stride, so Emily is excited to continue seeing everyone around the barn! Emily plans to step in and sub as an instructor when possible and is happy to continue being a part of this community. We want to thank Emily for all of her time and efforts at Forward Stride and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.

Welcome, Gabriella!

Gabriella, a recent grad from University of Oregon, will be joining the Forward Stride team as the Assistant Volunteer Coordinator and will be taking over Emily’s marketing and communications role! Gabriella is a former Forward Stride client and is very enthusiastic to take on this position. Gabriella will begin her position mid-April and we can’t wait for her arrival!

Welcome, Abby!

Abby has joined the Forward Stride team as the Assistant Facilities Coordinator and Horse Handler! She and her family are long-standing members of the Forward Stride community and she is joining her sister, Maiah, on staff. Abby has eagerly jumped into all of the facility projects and has quickly become a trusted Horse Handler. Welcome to the team, Abby!

Maiah will be phasing out of her role as the Assistant Volunteer Coordinator and transitioning into the Accounts Coordinator role. Maiah has done exceptional work in both of these positions and Forward Stride is excited to see all she will accomplish as the Accounts Coordinator!

And finally, we are thrilled to announce that Kennedy has officially accepted the position of Volunteer Coordinator and Facilities Coordinator! Previously, Kennedy was the Interim Volunteer Coordinator while Carly was away on Sabbatical. Carly has made the difficult decision to stay in Washington closer to her family. We are sad Carly will not be returning to Forward Stride, but are grateful that she has been able to work remotely over the last few months to support us in planning for the Giddyup Gala. We wish Carly success in her career and are grateful that Kennedy has stepped in and gracefully filled her shoes!
